Non-invasive phenotyping of animal models for neurodegenerative diseases
Nine DiMI partner institutions from five countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain) are involved in the different research activities of this work package.
Leader of the WP is Annemie van der Linden from the University of Antwerp (Antwerp, Belgium).
The main objectives for this project period (JPA5) are:
- Imaging of the type 2 cannabinoid receptor in HD – a potential new target for therapy
- Phenotyping mouse models for neurodegeneration
- Optical imaging in PD
