The structure of the DiMI Consortium

DiMI Partners Map

Thirteen European countries and 59 groups were represented in the DiMI Consortium. With their intellectual excellence and critical mass the DiMI Consortium reached a durable integration into the European Research Area (ERA) and achieved European leadership in the broad field of molecular imaging for diagnostic purposes.

The DiMI workprogramme was organized in 18 workpackages.

DiMI Structure and decision making

The management structure of DiMI was based on the overall Joint Programme of Activities (JPA) and the scientific Joint Programme of Research Activities (JPRA) organizational structure of DiMI. The structure of management took the overall complexity of DiMI into account reaching the necessary integration required for its overall success.

  • The DiMI Management Office (MO) at Cologne (Partner 1) was responsible for communication at all levels including dissemination outside the consortium.
  • The Scientific Management Board (SMB) constitutes a subset of partners of the steering committee.
  • The Governing Board (GB) constitutes one representative of all partners in the DiMI consortium.
  • In addition, various Boards and Committees will be constituted responsible for integrating activities (BIA), training (BOT), dissemination and communication (BODIC), knowledge and IPR management (BOKIM) as well as advice in ethical and safety affairs (EAC) and the scientific component of the network (SAC).
