Group Description

The R&D group consists of 15 people of high education and experience in the field of radiochemistry and radiopharmacy in the following thematic groups: radiopharmaceuticals based on their affinity to tumour cell receptors, radiopharmaceuticals for infection imaging, production technologies for reactor produced beta-radionuclides of high specific activity, radiopharmaceuticals for diagnosis of the osseous system diseases and therapy of painful metastases in bones, labelled with 99mTc, 188Re, 153Sm, 90Y and 177Lu, miniature radiation sources applied in radio-surgery and implantation brachytherapy, application of the liquid scintillator and gamma-spectrometry techniques for measurements of activity and radionuclidic purity of radionuclides used for production of the new type of radiopharmaceuticals.
